Sincere notes of thanks never go out of fashion. At Austex we say thank you often — because recognition is essentially positive feedback that lets our people know they're doing great, they're valued and they're appreciated. To recognise one of our own is a special feeling.
Beyond the day-to-day ideology of learning from and thanking each other, we run a formal Rewards & Recognition system: a "Thank You" card handed over to the person in front of their colleagues, kept and pinned like a certificate.
